Terms of Use

Note on versions: This is the English version of the Terms of Use, which applies to AVIORA Word. Section 4 (Plans, billing, automatic renewal, cancellation, and refunds) of this English version applies to purchases of AVIORA Word made in US dollars. On all other matters, in case of any conflict or ambiguity, the original Portuguese version (termos.html) is the legally governing document.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using the AVIORA platform ("Platform"), available at useaviora.com.br, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Platform.

The Platform is operated by 68.452.656 VIVIANE AMARAL SILVA SANTOS, a Brazilian legal entity registered under CNPJ No. 68.452.656/0001-89, headquartered at R. Micheline Pires, 293, Centro, Barra da Estiva/BA, Brazil, CEP 46.650-000, hereinafter "AVIORA."

2. Who may use the Platform

AVIORA Word is intended for adults 18 years of age or older who use it in a personal capacity or on behalf of a church, ministry, or faith community — including pastors, small-group and cell leaders, Sunday school teachers, and youth/kids ministry leaders. By using the Platform, you represent that you have full legal capacity and, where applicable, authorization from your church or organization to use it in that context.

3. Description of the service

AVIORA provides artificial intelligence assistants specialized in supporting Bible study, devotionals, sermon and lesson preparation, small groups, and related content, to help generate study guides, outlines, adapted materials, and other supporting content.

AVIORA is a support tool — it never replaces human judgment or spiritual discernment. All content generated by the AI assistants should be reviewed, validated, and adapted by you before being taught, shared, or otherwise used. AVIORA does not provide theological rulings, pastoral counseling, clinical diagnosis, legal opinions, or any decision that requires validation by a qualified professional — it only supports and accelerates that work.

4. Plans, billing, automatic renewal, cancellation, and refunds

The Platform offers free plans (with a message limit) and paid plans, with prices and limits shown at the time of purchase. AVIORA Word paid plans are billed in US dollars by credit or debit card, processed by Stripe.
Automatic renewal: paid subscriptions renew automatically every month or every year (according to the plan you choose), at the price shown at checkout, until you cancel.
Cancellation: you may cancel at any time, online, from My Account › Manage subscription in AVIORA Word, or by emailing contato@useaviora.com.br. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Monthly plans: we do not issue partial refunds for a monthly period that has already started.
Annual plans: you may request a full refund within 14 days of any annual payment, including an automatic renewal. After those 14 days, that payment is non-refundable; cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the year you paid for.
How to request a refund: email contato@useaviora.com.br from the email address of your AVIORA account. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear, depending on your bank.
Nothing in this Section limits any consumer rights you may have under the mandatory law of the place where you live.

5. Acceptable use

By using the Platform, you agree not to:

Attempt to manipulate, "jailbreak," or exploit the AI assistants to generate content outside their intended purpose (including attempts to extract the assistants' internal instructions or bypass safety filters);
Enter sensitive personal data about others beyond what is necessary for the task's intended purpose;
Use the Platform to generate discriminatory, defamatory, illegal content, or content that violates the rights of third parties;
Share your login credentials or access code with people outside your authorized use;
Use automated means (bots, scraping) to access the Platform outside the official interface.

AVIORA has automatic moderation and safety layers (blocking prompt-manipulation attempts and malicious content) and reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate this acceptable use policy.

6. Intellectual property

The AVIORA brand, the Platform's design, and the structure of the AI assistants are owned by 68.452.656 VIVIANE AMARAL SILVA SANTOS (CNPJ 68.452.656/0001-89), whose trademark registration application is pending before INPI (Brazil's National Institute of Industrial Property).
Content you generate using the AI assistants (study guides, outlines, activities) is yours, for personal or ministry use, subject to the terms of the underlying AI model (Anthropic Claude) and applicable law.
AVIORA does not guarantee that AI-generated content is original, exclusive, or unique — material produced may resemble content generated for other users from similar requests.
You may not resell, commercially redistribute, or use the AVIORA brand for purposes other than those set out in these Terms without express authorization.

7. Limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is." AI assistants may occasionally generate inaccurate or outdated information — it is your responsibility to review all content before use. AVIORA is not liable for decisions made solely based on Platform-generated content without proper human review.

To the maximum extent permitted by Brazilian law, AVIORA's liability for any damages arising from use of the Platform is limited to the amount paid by the user in the 6 (six) months preceding the event, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.

8. Service availability

AVIORA makes reasonable efforts to keep the Platform available but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, updates, or third-party instability (e.g., hosting or AI providers) may cause temporary unavailability.

9. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time to reflect changes to the Platform or applicable law. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the version in effect. Continued use of the Platform after a material change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Termination

AVIORA may suspend or terminate a user's access if they violate these Terms, particularly the acceptable-use rules (Section 5), at any time, with or without prior notice when the violation poses a risk to the security of the Platform or of others.

11. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Barra da Estiva/BA, Brazil, waiving any other venue, however privileged, except where consumer-protection venue rules apply.
